SUGOI Launches “Awesome Console Showcase” — A Celebration of Indie Games on Consoles
A New Platform for Indie Excellence
SUGOI has announced the Awesome Console Showcase, a brand-new digital event dedicated entirely to indie games on console platforms. Scheduled to air on October 28 11 AM PT/October 29 1 AM SGT, the event will stream live via the official YouTube channel.
This showcase is positioned as the first event of its kind, spotlighting indie titles launching across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam Deck. SUGOI promises a tight, “all-killer, no-filler” format featuring fresh reveals, updates, and announcements from across the indie scene.
A Curated Lineup of Indie Highlights
For its debut, the showcase will feature a hand-picked selection of standout indie projects — all distinct in genre, style, and ambition. Among the confirmed titles are:
- Reus 2 (Abbey Games | Firesquid) — Shape ecosystems and inspire humanity as mighty godly titans.
- Deck of Haunts (Mantis | DANGEN Entertainment & Game Source Entertainment) — Become a haunted house in this roguelike deckbuilder full of scares and strategy.
- ANTONBLAST (Summitsphere | Joystick Ventures) — A fast-paced, explosively colourful action platformer.
- The Cabin Factory (International Cat Studios | Future Friends Games) — Inspect eerie cabins to uncover supernatural secrets in this horror puzzler.
- Camper Van: Make It Home (Malapata Studio | Wings) — A cosy, decorative puzzle game about crafting your dream life on the road.
Each title reflects the company’s philosophy of amplifying creativity and diversity within the indie ecosystem — games that prioritise passion, experimentation, and unique storytelling over big budgets.

A Continuation of Indie Advocacy
SUGOI has steadily built a reputation for celebrating the spirit of independent development. Known for its tongue-in-cheek “The Game Awards for Games Who Can’t Afford The Game Awards” (TGAGWCAGA) and the SUGOI Showcase earlier this year, the platform continues to serve as a launchpad for breakout indie talent.
With the Awesome Console Showcase, the organisers are expanding their focus to console audiences, a segment where indie titles often struggle to gain visibility amid major AAA releases. In a statement accompanying the announcement, the organisation reaffirmed its mission to “uplift bold, outstanding games from around the world” and help indies reach the players they were made for.
If the track record is anything to go by, this might be another indie event that proves “awesome” isn’t just in the title, it’s the promise.
