Coffee Talk Tokyo Delayed, Work Work Work Announced in Toge Productions Anniversary Update

Toge Productions Marks 17 Years With Key Project Updates

Indonesian publisher Toge Productions has marked its 17th anniversary with a packed Anniversary Direct, outlining the studio’s roadmap for 2026 and beyond.

While the showcase featured multiple announcements, two updates stood out in particular: the reveal of a brand-new title from Mojiken Studio, and a delay to one of Toge’s most anticipated releases, Coffee Talk Tokyo.

Mojiken Studio Reveals Work Work Work

The headline announcement from the showcase was Work Work Work, a new project from Mojiken Studio, best known for the critically acclaimed A Space for the Unbound. Work Work Work is described as a point-and-click puzzle exploration game with ARG-style elements.

Players take on the role of an employee at a tech company who finds themselves trapped in a time loop, slowly uncovering layers of mystery as repetition gives way to unsettling discoveries. The project is based on an earlier Mojiken game jam prototype titled Test Test Test, but the studio has positioned this new release as a far more expansive and narrative-driven evolution of that idea.

Coffee Talk Tokyo Delayed to May 21

Alongside the new reveal, there was not-so-good news. Unfortunately, Coffee Talk Tokyo will no longer launch in the previously announced March window. The game has now been delayed to May 21.

According to Chorus Worldwide and Toge, the decision was made to allow additional time for polish, ensuring that the Tokyo-set sequel lives up to the series’ reputation for a cosy atmosphere, thoughtful writing, and late-night intimacy.

The team stressed that the extra development time is focused on refinement rather than major design changes.

Coffee Talk Expands to Mobile Ahead of the Sequel

While this latest entry has been pushed back, the broader franchise continues to expand and is set to bring in even more players into its universe.

Toge has confirmed that the original Coffee Talk will launch on iOS and Android on March 20, 2026, bringing its café conversations and lo-fi vibes to mobile players for the first time.

A Transitional Moment for a Major Publisher

Between the reveal of Mojiken’s next title and the delay of a much-anticipated title, the Anniversary Direct painted a clear picture of the gaming stalwart entering a transitional phase.

New experimental projects are moving into the spotlight, while established franchises are being given the time needed to meet expectations. 2026 is shaping up to be a defining year for one of Southeast Asia’s most influential publishers.
