ASUS Unveils Its Most Ambitious Zenbook Line Yet, From Ultra-Light AI Powerhouses to a Refined Dual-Screen DUO

ASUS Expands Its Zenbook Vision for 2026

ASUS has officially unveiled its most comprehensive Zenbook refresh to date in Singapore, announcing availability of both the all-new Zenbook S Series Copilot+ PCs and the next-generation Zenbook DUO (UX8407). Together, the two launches underline ASUS’ dual-pronged strategy for 2026: extreme portability powered by AI on one end, and uncompromising multi-screen productivity on the other.

While the S Series targets professionals who prioritise slim form factors and intelligent performance, the DUO continues ASUS’ push into redefining how laptops handle multitasking and creative workflows.

Zenbook S Series: Ultra-Light Copilot+ PCs With Pro-Level AI Performance

The S Series arrives in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, built around a remarkably slim 1.1 cm chassis and weighing from just 1.2 kg. Despite its compact design, these are serious performance machine, powered by either an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H or an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor, both delivering up to 50 TOPs of on-device AI performance.

The Thincredible cooling system enables up to 28W CPU TDP in an ultraportable frame, supported by a 3D vapour chamber and redesigned IceBlade fans that keep noise below 25 dB during ambient use. This balance allows the S Series to handle demanding multitasking, creative workloads, and AI-assisted tools without sacrificing portability.

Visually, both models feature ASUS Lumina OLED displays with 3K resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, and up to 1,100 nits of HDR peak brightness. The 14-inch model pairs its display with a four-speaker Dolby Atmos system, while the 16-inch version steps up to six speakers for a more immersive audio experience.

Zenbook DUO: Refining ASUS’ Dual-Screen Ambition

Running alongside this launch is the evolved Zenbook DUO (UX8407), ASUS’ most refined take on dual-screen laptop design to date. Featuring two 14-inch 3K ASUS Lumina Pro OLED displays, the DUO now offers a 70% smaller gap between screens, creating a more seamless vertical workspace.

Powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor with 50 TOPs NPU performance, the Zenbook DUO is designed for creators, developers, and multitaskers who rely on extended screen real estate. A massive 99 Wh dual-battery system supports longer unplugged sessions, while an upgraded thermal design allows sustained performance at up to 45W TDP.

The redesigned MagLatch keyboard docking system and hideaway hinge improve portability and durability, while ScreenXpert software intelligently adapts layouts, sharing tools, and annotations based on the device’s position. ASUS has also upgraded the audio system to a six-speaker Dolby Atmos configuration, turning the DUO into a capable entertainment device when work winds down.

A Shared Design Language, Two Distinct Experiences

Despite serving different audiences, both lines share ASUS’ premium Ceraluminum chassis design, AI-driven security features such as Windows Hello and Adaptive Lock, and full modern connectivity, including WiFi 7 and comprehensive I/O. Where the S Series focuses on elegance and mobility, the DUO leans into versatility and visual scale.

Together, they represent the company’s clearest statement yet on how AI PCs should adapt to different working styles rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach.
