Dosa Divas Sets April Release Date Across PC and Consoles

Outerloop Games has confirmed that Dosa Divas: One Last Meal will launch on April 14, bringing its food-focused narrative RPG to PC and consoles. The game will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Alongside the announcement, Outerloop has released a playable demo on Steam, giving players an early taste of the game’s opening moments and tone ahead of its full launch.

A Story About Family, Food, and Corporate Power

Dosa Divas follows sisters Samara and Amani as they reunite after years apart to confront a corrupt fast food empire that has hollowed out their communities. Travelling with an ancient spirit-mech, the pair reconnect with estranged friends and family while navigating a world shaped by cultural erasure and corporate exploitation.

The narrative leans heavily into reconciliation and shared history, framing combat encounters as emotional confrontations rather than simple battles. Conflicts often centre on repairing broken relationships and rediscovering the value of tradition, community, and care.

Turn-Based Combat With a Culinary Twist

Combat in Dosa Divas is turn-based and narrative-driven, blending fantastical abilities with character-specific skills tied to the sisters and their spirit-mech companion. Battles are framed as expressive encounters that reflect character growth and emotional stakes rather than pure mechanical optimisation.

Food plays a central role beyond healing or stat boosts. Recipes are discovered through exploration and dialogue, and cooking becomes a way to mend rifts, strengthen bonds, and restore community trust. Meals act as narrative bridges, reinforcing the idea that food is culture, memory, and connection rather than just a resource.

A Vibrant World Built Around Community

Players will explore colourful villages, platform through hand-crafted environments, and interact with a cast of characters shaped by the same corporate forces the sisters are fighting against. Progression is closely tied to relationships, with the spirit-mech evolving alongside the protagonists as players cook, battle, and travel together.

Originally revealed during Summer Game Fest 2024 as part of the Outersloth funding initiative, Dosa Divas continues Outerloop Games’ focus on emotionally driven storytelling following the studio’s previous work.

Dosa Divas: One Last Meal launches April 14, 2026, with a demo available now on Steam.
