Demi and the Fractured Dream Sets Its Sights on February 2027
Annapurna Interactive and developer Yarn Owl have confirmed that Demi and the Fractured Dream will launch in February 2027.
The upcoming action adventure game is planned for PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. To mark the updated release window, a free Steam demo is now available until June 30.
The new trailer gives players another look at Demi’s journey through Somnus, a wondrous but dangerous world shaped by ancient history, strange creatures, and legendary Accursed Beasts.
Demi Ventures Through Somnus
Demi and the Fractured Dream follows Demi, a Voidsent hero guided by a mysterious voice. Tasked with saving the world, Demi must destroy the legendary Accursed Beasts while uncovering the truth behind an ancient past.
That setup gives the game a familiar action-adventure structure, but its appeal comes from how it blends hack-and-slash combat, environmental puzzles, and platforming across a dreamlike fantasy world.
Combat, Puzzles, and Platforming Shape the Adventure
Players will use Demi’s attacks and abilities to defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and progress through Somnus. Demi and the Fractured Dream is being built around classic action-adventure rhythms, where combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving feed into each other rather than existing as separate systems.
