Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition Makes Its Nintendo Debut
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have confirmed that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 3.
The release marks the dark Three Kingdoms action RPG series’ debut on a Nintendo platform, bringing the full game and all three major DLC packs to Switch 2 players. The announcement follows the recent reveal of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, giving Nintendo players a chance to catch up before the sequel arrives in early 2027.
All Three DLC Packs Are Included
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition includes the base game alongside the DLC of Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang.
These expansions add new scenarios featuring characters tied to the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei, as well as additional stages, Divine Beasts, difficulty levels, and weapon types. Players will also get access to cestuses, long swords, and whips, expanding the combat options beyond the original release.
The Complete Edition also includes The Thousand Mile Journey, an endgame mode designed to push players through tougher encounters and longer-term progression.
Collaboration Content and Bonus Items Return
That’s not all, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will include collaborative DLC connected to Nioh 2, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and Lies of P, adding extra equipment and stages from those games.
Three items from the original release will also be included. Players can claim Baihu Armour, Zhuque Armour, and Qinglong Armour, alongside The Records of the Grand Historian. That item shows the location of Marking Flags on the mini map, which should make exploration and route planning easier for new players.
To celebrate the Switch 2 release of the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition, Koei Tecmo is also offering Xuanwu Armour as an exclusive equipment set for Nintendo Switch 2 owners of the game.
Wo Long 2 Is Already on the Horizon
First released in 2023, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has surpassed more than 5 million players and sold more than 1 million copies worldwide.

The game follows a nameless militia soldier fighting through a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty, where demons have consumed the Three Kingdoms. Its combat centres on Chinese martial arts, deflecting attacks, managing morale, and turning enemy aggression into openings.
With Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember now scheduled for early 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition arrives at a useful time. For Nintendo players, September 3 is the first chance to experience Team Ninja’s demon-infested Three Kingdoms before the sequel expands the battlefield next year.
