Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival Opens The Labyrinth This October
Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have confirmed that Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will launch on October 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The survival-horror action game brings players into a new story set within the Hellraiser universe, with Pinhead returning as a central presence. Doug Bradley, who portrayed the character across multiple Hellraiser films, is also voicing Pinhead in the game.
The announcement arrives with a new trailer and fresh details on the game’s editions, pre-order bonuses and Collector’s Editions, giving horror fans a clearer idea of what to expect when Revival arrives later this year.
Standard And Deluxe Editions Are Coming Soon
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will launch with a Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. The digital and physical Standard Edition will be available to pre-order soon, and a Deluxe Edition will also be available ahead of release. However, Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are keeping its full contents under wraps until closer to launch.
Players who pre-order any edition of the game will receive two in-game bonuses at release: the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and Martyr Sawblade Skin. Boss Team Games is also still taking pre-orders for two special Collector’s Editions through the official Hellraiser: Revival store. These editions include licensed collectibles and will unlock all Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonus content.

A New Hellraiser Story Built Around The Genesis Configuration
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival follows a new story in which players descend into the darkest corners of the Hellraiser universe while trying to rescue a loved one from the Cenobites.
The Genesis Configuration puzzle box sits at the heart of the experience. In gameplay, it gives players access to infernal abilities such as pyrokinesis, telekinesis and the iconic Hell Chains, while also playing a role in puzzle-solving and shifting parts of the Labyrinth itself.
Players will also use more grounded weapons as they face cultists, wretches and other enemies tied to Hell’s armies. The game is being pitched as a mix of survival horror, action and puzzle-driven exploration, rather than a straightforward licensed action game.
Hellraiser Gets A Full Video Game Adaptation
Hellraiser has appeared around gaming before, but Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival stands out as a full standalone adaptation of the horror franchise.
That gives Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games a difficult balance to strike. The game needs to capture the oppressive atmosphere and strange mythology of Hellraiser while still providing players with a playable horror-action structure capable of supporting a full campaign.
With its October 8 date now locked in, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is heading into a busy horror season with one major advantage: very few horror icons carry the same uneasy presence as Pinhead and the Cenobites.
