Logitech Mobi Fold Targets The Work Anywhere Problem

Logitech has launched Mobi Fold, its first foldable mouse, designed for people who want a more portable way to work outside a traditional desk setup.

The mouse is built around a folding mechanism that lets it collapse into a more compact form for bags, pockets, and travel pouches, then open into a fuller mouse shape when needed. It is aimed at users working from airports, cafes, hotel lobbies and other in-between spaces where a laptop trackpad often becomes the default choice.

Logitech is also launching Mobi Fold for Business, a version designed for workplace deployment with additional business-focused connectivity and IT support features.

A Foldable Design Built For Travel

The main hook is the fold itself, where the Mobi Fold automatically powers on when opened and turns off when folded, reducing the need for users to think about battery management between sessions.

Logitech says the design reduces muscle strain by 22% compared to using a laptop trackpad. That claim is part of the company’s wider pitch around mobile productivity, with Logitech research suggesting that while 72% of professionals own a mouse, only 26% use one while working in public.

The issue, according to Logitech, is not a lack of interest in using a mouse, but the bulk and inconvenience of carrying one around. Mobi Fold is designed to close that gap by offering something more pocketable without abandoning the precision and comfort of a dedicated mouse.

Touch Scrolling, Custom Buttons, and Multi-Device Support

Mobi Fold uses Adaptive Touch Scrolling instead of a traditional scroll wheel, letting users move through documents, spreadsheets and webpages with either more precise control or faster movement. The mouse also includes two customisable buttons on the touch panel. These can be set through the Logi Options+ App for shortcuts such as switching applications or taking screenshots.

On the connectivity side, Mobi Fold supports Bluetooth pairing with up to three devices. It works across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS and Linux, making it flexible enough for users who move between laptops, tablets and other devices.

The Business model adds a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver for more secure wireless connections, Sync support for IT monitoring, and a two-year limited hardware warranty.

Battery Life And Singapore Pricing Confirmed

For users worried about prolonged use, a one-minute charge can provide up to 22 hours of use, while a full charge can last up to 30 days. The mouse also features quiet clicks, a drop-tested build, a dust-resistant silicone sleeve and an internal hinge rated for 15 years of daily use.

Mobi Fold is available in Graphite and Off-White, offering users a choice between a darker, professional finish and a cleaner, minimalist look. Logitech has also highlighted sustainability features, including certified post-consumer recycled plastic, magnets made with 100% post-consumer recycled rare earth metal, and FSC-certified paper packaging.

In Singapore, Logitech Mobi Fold will be available for SG$159 in Graphite and Off-White.
