Sizeable Console Release Brings Its Diorama Puzzles to More Players
Business Goose Studios and Alchemy Games have brought Sizeable to consoles, with the relaxing puzzle game now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The console release follows a successful run on PC, where Sizeable has sold more than 200,000 copies on Steam. Originally a student project, it later became the Belgian developer’s first full commercial game. At the centre of the experience is a simple idea: players can shrink and grow objects inside small diorama environments, with those changes affecting how each puzzle works.
Sizeable Turns Scale Into the Solution
Rather than relying on traditional inventory puzzles or complicated controls, Sizeable asks players to experiment with the size of objects around them. Growing the moon can raise the tide, while shrinking a tree can remove shade from a pool of water. Players might then enlarge the sun to evaporate that water before manipulating a cloud to create wind and clear away sand.
Each diorama builds its puzzles around these kinds of cause and effect interactions, rewarding players for understanding how individual objects influence the wider environment. The game includes 39 low poly dioramas spanning locations from deserts to outer space, alongside 10 secret areas and four seasonal stages.
Hidden Tortoises Add Another Layer for Completionists
There is also plenty to look for beyond solving the main puzzles. Each of the 39 primary dioramas contains a hidden tortoise, with finding them tied to many of the game’s Achievements and Trophies.
That gives players another reason to inspect each environment closely rather than rushing directly towards the solution, especially given how much of Sizeable is built around noticing small environmental details.
The overall experience is designed to remain calm and accessible, with a soundtrack by Jamal Green that supports the game’s slower, more exploratory pace.
Available Now on Consoles
The console version is priced at US$6.99, giving players another way to experience the compact puzzle adventure after its strong reception on PC. For anyone who enjoys environmental puzzles without much pressure, Sizeable looks like an easy game to dip into, especially if the idea of literally reshaping the world to find a solution sounds appealing.
Sizeable is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, alongside the existing PC version on Steam.
