Join Us PS5 Version Will Launch Alongside Xbox and PC
Wolf Haus Games has confirmed that Join Us will launch on PlayStation 5 in March 2027, arriving simultaneously with the previously announced Xbox and PC versions. That means PlayStation players will not have to wait for a later port of the darkly satirical survival action game, with all three platforms now set to receive the game on day one.
The Montréal studio also released a new trailer highlighting the game’s cooperative features, with up to four players able to work through the campaign or simply explore its open world together. Xbox players will have another route in, with Join Us also launching through Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Four Players Can Build a Doomsday Cult Together
Join Us can be played entirely solo, but much of the chaos comes from allowing up to four players loose inside its handcrafted 6km² map. Groups can tackle the fully voiced narrative campaign together or jump into free roam, recruiting followers, gathering resources and gradually turning a questionable little community into a functioning doomsday cult.
Cult members are not simply background NPCs either. Players can recruit civilians and certain enemies, with individual followers bringing different abilities to the group. Those recruits can subsequently become useful parts of the wider operation as players expand their compound and try to keep everything running.
Your Cult Can Believe Almost Anything
One of the more unusual systems in Join Us concerns what your followers actually believe. Players can shape the cult through different teachings, with those choices affecting follower behaviour and the wider world’s response. The possibilities can apparently get rather strange, ranging from UFO worship to cannibalism.
Keeping the organisation alive requires more practical thinking too. Players will need to manage food, ammunition, materials, devotion and infamy while constructing buildings and defences. Successful cults can eventually expand further by establishing additional outposts around the map.
Naturally, the authorities may not be thrilled about any of this. Police and government forces can come after the group, while combat features conventional firearms alongside considerably less conventional options, including a weapon capable of firing live snakes.
Launches Simultaneously Across PS5, Xbox and PC

The important part of the latest announcement is that PS5 is now locked in for the same launch window as Xbox and PC, rather than following at a later date. An exact March release date has not yet been confirmed.
For a game built around convincing as many people as possible to join your deeply questionable organisation, launching everywhere at once certainly feels appropriate.
Join Us launches in March 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
