Gran Turismo 7 Singapore Challenge Offers GT World Series Tickets

Think you have the pace to compete in Gran Turismo 7? Sony Singapore is offering local players the chance to turn their fastest laps into tickets to the upcoming Gran Turismo World Series Singapore Round.

From September 5 to 27, players can head to the Sony Store at 313@somerset and compete using an official Gran Turismo 7 racing setup, with leaderboard positions determining who walks away with tickets to the October 3 live event at Marina Bay Sands.

The top two players will each receive two VIP tickets, while those finishing from 3rd to 35th place will each receive two Classic tickets. That means 35 leaderboard positions will ultimately earn their way into the event, so victory is not the only route to securing a seat.

Race Your Way up the Gran Turismo 7 Leaderboard

The challenge is open throughout the promotional period, giving players several weeks to test their reflexes, consistency and knowledge of Gran Turismo 7 against other local racers.

Sony has not detailed the specific car, circuit or competition rules in its announcement, so anyone planning to chase the leaderboard will need to check the full terms and conditions before setting their sights on the fastest time.

There is also a separate Gran Turismo 7 promotion running alongside the challenge. The PlayStation 5 version of the game will be available for SG$37.80 until September 16, a SG$47 saving from its regular price.

Singapore Hosts Gran Turismo World Series Round 3

The prizes lead into a significant stop for competitive Gran Turismo, as Round 3 takes place at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, on October 3, marking the championship’s first live event in Southeast Asia.

The programme includes the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup exhibition race before the Manufacturers Cup and Nations Cup take centre stage. It is also the final World Series stop before the championship heads to Tokyo for its World Finals in December.

For players who missed out on qualifying for the regional competition itself, Sony’s new challenge therefore offers a considerably more forgiving route into the building. You just need to be among the fastest 35 people at 313@somerset.
