tinyBuild Connect 2026 Packs 16 Games Into Its Biggest Showcase Yet
Celebrating 15 years as a publisher, tinyBuild brought plenty to its latest Connect showcase, with 16 games spanning new announcements, release dates, demos, console ports and updates to existing titles.
The biggest spotlight went to Kingmakers, which received a substantial 10-minute gameplay deep dive ahead of its eventual Steam Early Access launch. However, there were also two completely new game announcements in The Crab is Walking and Road to Jukai, alongside fresh details for Graveyard Keeper 2, The Lift, ReStory and several others.
Kingmakers Shows Off Its Medieval Warfare With Modern Firepower
Kingmakers received its closest look yet at tinyBuild Connect 2026, with the new footage digging into the unusual combination of third-person action and real-time strategy that has made the game stand out.
Players travel back to 1403 to aid Owain Glyndŵr’s Welsh rebellion, except they arrive with considerably more firepower than the average medieval soldier. Guns, vehicles and air support can all be brought into large-scale battles, while the strategy layer lets players command armies, siege castles, establish outposts, and defend captured territory.
The campaign can be played solo or cooperatively with up to four players. Kingmakers does not have an Early Access date yet, but another Steam playtest is coming, with registrations now open.
The Crab is Walking and Road to Jukai Join tinyBuild
One of the more unusual new reveals at tinyBuild Connect 2026 was The Crab is Walking, a roguelite kingdom builder and autobattler from the developers behind The King is Watching.
Rather than ruling from a traditional settlement, players build their kingdom atop enormous wandering crustaceans travelling through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Buildings can be merged and upgraded as the settlement develops, adding another strange twist to the studio’s strategy formula.
That makes it an interesting follow-up to The King is Watching, which already experimented with kingdom management through its gaze mechanic.
The second new addition is Road to Jukai, previously known as Silent Road. The psychological horror game puts players behind the wheel of a night-shift taxi in Japan, with tinyBuild now coming aboard as publisher ahead of its planned 2027 release. A Steam playtest is available now.
Graveyard Keeper 2, Probably Stolen and Hull Rupture Lock In Release Dates
Several upcoming games also received firmer release plans during the tinyBuild Connect 2026 showcase. Graveyard Keeper 2 launches on September 22 for PC and consoles, with a new demo available now across both. Progress made in the demo will carry over into the full game.
Cyberpunk shop simulator Probably Stolen is set to follow on October 28, with its own new Steam demo accompanying the release date announcement. Then, on November 4, Hull Rupture will bring its mix of base management, tower defence, and roguelike systems to players. Its updated Steam demo is also available now.
Elsewhere, dinosaur survival FPS Ferocious has made the jump to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, while cosy renovation game Hozy will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch later this year. Its free Hideaways DLC is already available on Steam and adds three new levels.
Open-world RPG Of Ash and Steel is also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, although tinyBuild has yet to announce a date. A new expansion, Shattered Faith, is in development as well, introducing magic to the Kingdom of the Seven.
ReStory Hits 500,000 Sales as More tinyBuild Games Get Updates
There was plenty for existing releases at tinyBuild Connect 2026, too. ReStory has now sold 500,000 copies, with a free September 21 update adding a new device to repair and another customer to meet. The King is Watching has received Steam Deck optimisation, while strategic mining game Drill Core has launched an anniversary update featuring quality-of-life improvements across PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Early Access title SAND: Raiders of Sophie is getting a major content update later this month, although further details on what it contains remain limited. Meanwhile, co-op cooking horror game Happy’s Humble Burger Cult has added two restaurants alongside Trial by Fryer, a new team-based PvP mode where players can sabotage rival kitchens while competing for ingredients.
The Lift and Trainfort Round Out the tinyBuild Connect 2026 Line-Up
The Lift returned with a new story trailer offering another look at the mysterious Institute at the centre of its supernatural handyman adventure. It is scheduled for release in 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Finally, open-world survival game Trainfort debuted another trailer and confirmed that a new Steam playtest is on the way, with sign-ups available now.
It was a packed showing at tinyBuild Connect 2026, and while Kingmakers remains one of the publisher’s biggest upcoming attractions, the breadth of the line-up made its 15th anniversary showcase much more than a one-game affair.
