Titan Quest II Release Date Set for January 19, 2027
THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games have confirmed that Titan Quest II will leave Early Access on January 19, 2027, bringing the action RPG to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S alongside its full PC release.
The milestone comes after roughly a year and a half in Early Access, during which Grimlore has expanded the game with new regions, abilities, and loot, using player feedback to shape its progression toward version 1.0. The full release will bring those additions together into the complete experience, although development will not stop once January rolls around.
Early Access Key to Development
Much of Titan Quest II’s development has revolved around its Mastery system, which allows players to combine different specialisations and build characters around their preferred playstyle.
That flexibility has remained one of Grimlore’s main priorities throughout Early Access, with subsequent updates expanding the lands players can explore while adding more combat options and equipment to hunt down.
Version 1.0 is intended to bring those systems and areas together into a more complete campaign, giving newcomers the chance to start with the full experience while existing Early Access players finally reach the end of the development road they have been following.
Titan Quest II Will Keep Growing After Launch
January will not mark the end of Titan Quest II’s journey either, with THQ Nordic confirming that more updates and expansions are planned beyond release.
The publisher has already teased additional lands, features and content for 2027, while further information on pre-orders and their associated bonuses is expected in the coming months. There are also hints of a mythical creature and hidden treasure still to be revealed before launch.
That makes the January release more of a transition into the game’s next phase than a hard stopping point, particularly for an ARPG built around character experimentation, loot and replayability.
