Acts of Blood Release Date Set for December 4
Eksil Team’s Acts of Blood will launch for PC on December 4, finally putting a firm date on the Bandung developer’s brutal martial arts beat ’em up. The game will arrive through Steam and the Microsoft Store first, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions following sometime in 2027.
The announcement also confirms Big Fan Games as publisher. The Devolver Digital label specialises in working with independent developers and established entertainment properties, although Acts of Blood represents an original IP rather than one of its licensed adaptations.
A new release-date trailer shown during IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition provides another look at the game’s close-quarters combat, with Hendra chaining strikes, counters and environmental attacks together before occasionally reaching for something considerably louder.
Acts of Blood Mixes Martial Arts With Melee Weapons and Guns
Acts of Blood follows Hendra, a law student whose family is murdered after his father investigates a corrupt official. With the legal system unwilling to help, Hendra heads into the fictional Indonesian city of Bandapa to uncover the organisation responsible and settle things himself.
Combat remains the centrepiece. Players can string together punches, kicks, blocks and counters before finishing enemies with more brutal attacks, while bats, knives, pistols and rifles provide alternatives when hand-to-hand combat is not enough. Parts of the environment can also be smashed or turned into improvised weapons.
The latest trailer puts those different systems together more clearly, showing how gunplay can be incorporated into fights rather than replacing the martial arts focus. Hendra will also acquire additional combat moves as the story progresses, while customisable outfits and tattoos can be changed from his apartment between missions.
Squeezing Into a Crowded 2026
The December date keeps Eksil Team’s earlier commitment to launch Acts of Blood this year, something the studio maintained even with GTA VI landing only weeks earlier on November 19. The Indonesian project previously received a larger international spotlight through Summer Game Fest, after which we took another look at Acts of Blood and its planned 2026 launch.
That puts a relatively small Southeast Asian production into one of the busiest periods of the year, but it also gives Acts of Blood a fairly distinctive proposition. There are not many December releases offering Indonesian streets, revenge cinema and the opportunity to transition directly from a martial arts combo into a rifle.
