Heihachi Mishima Tekken 8 Story Dlc at Evo 2024

It never quite felt right that Bandai Namco‘s Tekken 8 was lacking a certain hairy fellow, but with the latest announcement at EVO 2024, fans can heave a sigh of relief. Heihachi Mishima, the King of Iron Fist, is going to be the next DLC character coming to Tekken 8 in Fall 2024. He follows the likes of fan-favourite characters, including Eddy Gordo and Lidia Sobieska, to join the fight.

In addition to that, Tekken 8 will be adding an entirely new chapter for its story mode for the first time, expanding on The Dark Awakens storyline, which continues the clash between the Kazama and Mishima families. The story mode expansion will be available as a free update for all players.

And if you want more, Bandai Namco is delivering. The Japanese gaming giant revealed an extensive collaboration with Nike, Inc. for Tekken 8, bringing the world’s largest athletic footwear and apparel brand into the legendary fighting game universe. The partnership encompasses digital in-game content coming this Fall, including digital Nike Air Foamposite One sneakers inspired by Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima.

Finally, the company also announced the location of the 2024 Tekken World Tour Finals, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan, on December 8, with group stages for Global and Regional Leaderboards beginning on December 5.
