The success of its video game series has allowed The Witcher franchise to expand into other media, with both live-action and animated offerings available on Netflix. While there have been varying degrees of success, with Henry Cavill’s efforts being the most visible, Netflix is going back to the well once more with its next animated film, The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.

And you don’t have to wait too long for it, as the film will debut on Netflix this coming February 11. What makes this an even more special treat for fans is that Doug Cockle, the voice actor for Geralt in the video games, will reprise his role here.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will adapt Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Little Sacrifice, where Geralt’s investigation into mysterious attacks in a coastal village eventually uncovers something even more intriguing, with the long-standing conflict between man and merfolk comes to the fore. It will be up to our hero and his allies to stop the coming of a war that will leave both sides in tatters.

In addition to the trailer drop, Netflix also shared a bunch of new frames from the film, showing off the clean art style that stands out from the usual offerings.

Alongside Cockle will be Christina Wren (Man of Steel), who is cast as Essi. Stars from The Witcher, Joey Batey and Anya Chalotra, will also be returning to voice Jaskier and Yennefe,r respectively. The animation will be handled by Studio Mir, with Kang Hei Chul (The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf) returning as the director.

While The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep continues to spotlight animated Geralt, the live-action series will soon see its fourth season, now with Liam Hemsworth at the helm. The series is set to finish with a fifth season.

The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep will debut on February 11, 2025 on Netflix.
