Mai Shiranui Dlc Street Fighter 6

It’s undeniable that when we talk about iconic characters from the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters universes, Mai Shiranui deserves a spot at the top. Being an iconic face of the fighting game scene, it is this same idea that has led SNK and Capcom to make her one of the guest characters in Street Fighter 6.

After being shrouded in mystery, Capcom has finally released a gameplay trailer showcasing Mai Shiranui and her moves in the Street Fighter universe. Mai looks stunning, not just visually but also in her attack animations and movements that stay true to her Fatal Fury roots. She also comes with eye-catching ultimate attack animations.

To give fans even more to enjoy, Capcom will include two costume variations for her: her iconic red outfit (Outfit 1) and her new look from Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (Outfit 2).

Here are the key details about her moves when you finally get to select Mai Shiranui in Street Fighter 6:

  • Kachousen: Mai throws her fan like a fireball. The advanced version cannot be neutralized and deals additional damage upon landing.
  • Ryuuenbu: A fiery spinning attack that is great for combos or controlling space during the fight.
  • Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi: A cartwheel into an elbow strike that boasts aerial options with its enhanced version.
  • Hishou Ryuuenjin: A flaming upward kick that works as an anti-air measure against your opponents.
  • Kagerou no Mai (Level 1 Super Art): Mai ignites her surroundings, dealing damage and earning five Flame Stocks, enhancing her special moves and Super Arts.
  • Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi (Level 2 Super Art): A blazing charge that bypasses projectiles and leaves opponents reeling.
  • Shiranui Ryuu: Enbu Ada Zakura (Level 3 Super Art): Mai executes an elegant flurry of fan strikes with unmatched grace and ferocity.

Mai Shiranui will be available to owners of the Year 2 Character Pass or Year 2 Ultimate Pass for Street Fighter 6 upon her release on February 5. She can also be purchased separately using Fighter Coins.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
