Capcom Uncovers New Additions in Ace Attorney Investigations Collection

The upcoming Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, which will be released this September 6, will introduce fans invested in Miles Edgeworth’s career to more courtroom goodness. Now, Capcom has pulled back the curtain on the unique characters and distinctive game mechanics for solving
mysteries and uncovering the truth to make things even more exciting.

The team pointed to Franziska von Karma and Ema Skye, familiar faces from the Ace Attorney series, as ones to look out for, as well as Eustace Winner, who will be making his debut as part of the new collection.

Karma is the daughter of Edgeworth’s mentor, Manfred von Karma. She became a prosecutor at the age of 13 in Germany and handles all her cases with a triumphant crack of her whip. Skye seeks to fulfil her dream of becoming a forensic investigator and looks up to Edgeworth as she helps out where she can. As for Winner, he is a rookie district prosecutor who has been assigned to take over all of Edgeworth’s cases. He is obsessed with being the best in all things and tries to be the
first to solve his cases before anyone has a chance to say or do otherwise.

As for the unique game systems in Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, there is the returning Little
Thief (Crime Scene Re-Creation) system and the new Mind Chess gameplay mechanic. For the former, players can input what they know into Little Thief so the gadget can recreate the scene as it was at the time of the crime. Interact with the re-creation to continue the investigation, and hopefully, new information will come to light.

For the latter, Edgeworth can convince stubborn opponents to open up through a game of mental chess. Mind Chess requires that you think fast and make decisive plays in real time as you probe your opponent for answers. Keep an eye on your opponent’s words and expressions as you question them. Any subtle shift could spell something big for you and the case.

The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection special set, previously exclusive to e-Capcom in Japan, is now available for pre-order in Asia. The Nintendo Switch set includes:

  • Ace Attorney Investigations 1 & 2 game
  • Arranged Mini Album (5 songs in total)
  • Characters & Diorama Acrylic Stands (2-backgrounds)

Featuring full HD graphics, quality-of-life improvements, and special bonus materials, the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection is the definitive experience for more courtroom drama and objections. It will be released on September 6 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
