Experience Assassin's Creed Mirage This April with Free Trial

Assassin’s Creed Mirage welcomed players to ancient Baghdad back in October 2023, expanding the long-running franchise to yet another new frontier. The story of Basim Ibn Ishaq was an intriguing one, tying in with the overall universe while setting the stage for new stories to unfold.

Now, Ubisoft is making sure more players get a chance to be part of the adventure this April with a free trial of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Starting from April 16 to 30, aspiring masters of stealth can gain access to the first two hours of the game on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, as well as Windows PC. Progress made will also carry over if you choose to purchase the full game afterwards.

As an added incentive, players streaming the game during the free trial period will also be able to get and offer to their viewers an exclusive reward in the form of the Basim Valhalla Sword, the very one he wields in later years in England during Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage provides an immersive story in which players embody a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones on a quest for answers, evolving in the Golden Age of ninth-century Baghdad, and the free trial offers a taste of the narrative driven action-adventure experience with a focus on parkour, stealth and assassinations gameplay elements that represent the core of the franchise.

The future of the Assassin’s Creed franchise remains bright, even as Ubisoft undergoes restructuring in the background. The next flagship title, Assassin’s Creed Red, is set to launch sometime this year, with reportedly two protagonists for players to choose from. Its setting in ancient Japan is also something fans have been pining for, which can only bode well for the developers working on the game.
