Experience Hardcore Action with the First Berserker Khazan Demo, out Now

One of the best ways to find out if a game is actually for you is to play it, but the idea of demos being readily available is one of yesteryear. Thankfully, there are still studios and publishers who are willing to give players a taste, and if you are looking for a Soulslike that is aesthetically distinct, then Nexon and Neople‘s The First Berserker: Khazan should be high on your list.

As previously announced, a demo for the game is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and can be accessed even after the game’s launch on March 27. By jumping in and experiencing what the game has to offer, your hard work at bringing down bosses and strengthening Khazan will not go to waste, either. All save progress from the demo will be transferable to the full game.

The First Berserker: Khazan comes from the universe of Dungeon & Fighter or Dungeon Fighter Online, a key property of Nexon, and focuses on the backstories of Ozma and Khazan. As Khazan, the ancestor of all Slayers and the hero who brought down the villainous Berserk Dragon Hismar, his subsequent downfall has always been a mystery, until now.

Instead of a standard roleplaying adventure, it is all about hardcore action as the hack-and-slash nature of DNF blends in with the elements of the Souls genre. Every battle will be hard-fought, and victory is never more satisfying. Of course, your skill in combat isn’t everything, as there will be different equipment and abilities available to help players navigate the harsh encounters ahead.

The more enemies you defeat, the more potential you will have to grow into the fabled warrior Khazan was meant to be. Of course, if you yourself face the sharp end of your enemy’s weapons, you will lose all your hard-earned in-game currency, with one more chance to get it all back.

The First Berserker: Khazan will launch on March 27, 2025, on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
