Fallout Hits 65 Million Views Milestone on Amazon Prime Video

The attention to detail and the power of excellent storytelling have propelled the Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video to be among the conversation when it comes to the best video game adaptation of all time. Following the welcomed news that a second season is in the works, the series has achieved another win, with over 65 million views just three weeks after its debut.

This prolonged and sustained interest in the series cements Fallout as the second-most watched show on Amazon Prime Video, with Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power still on top. It would seem the trio of Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul is a big hit with an audience that likes inane post-apocalyptic situations, plenty of violence, and cautionary tales.

“With that post-credits stuff, we really wanted to imply, guys, the world has progressed, and the idea that the wasteland stays as it is decade-to-decade is preposterous to us. It’s just a place [of] constant tragedy, events, horrors — there’s a constant churn of trauma. We’re definitely implying more has occurred,” co-showrunner Graham Wagner explained to IGN,

The fun is set to continue as the series supposedly moves towards the Mojave Desert, where the city of New Vegas is situated. After seeing some of the monstrosities that roam the Wasteland, it is safe to assume that the iconic Deathclaw will make an appearance soon enough.

Whether that will actually happen is a whole other thing, but fans have plenty to speculate about, just as the writers have rich source material to be inspired by. Hopefully, just as war never changes, may the entertainment provided by Fallout on Amazon Prime Video never cease as well.

Fallout is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
