Assassin’s Creed Mirage Expands With Free Al-Ula DLC This November

A Free Adventure to Al-Ula

Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Valley of Memory, the previously teased free DLC set to launch on November 18. The expansion offers fans one final journey with Basim before the events of the game’s ending — this time across Al-Ula, a striking new desert region inspired by Saudi Arabia’s real-world heritage site.

The story follows Basim as he travels to the fabled valley in search of his long-lost father, only to discover that the city is under siege by a band of ruthless raiders. What begins as a personal quest quickly spirals into a new conflict that expands on Mirage’s themes of legacy, loss, and the unending struggle between order and chaos.

According to Ubisoft, Valley of Memory will deliver around six hours of new content, mixing narrative-driven missions with open-ended exploration. It’s a blend that recalls the tight, focused design of Mirage while deepening Basim’s emotional arc.

Gameplay Enhancements and New Features

Beyond the story, the DLC introduces several gameplay refinements designed to enhance Mirage’s stealth and parkour systems.

Among the most requested additions is Mission & Challenge Replay, allowing players to revisit previously completed objectives for fresh in-game rewards. Classic fans will also appreciate the Manual Jump Toggle, a nostalgic nod to earlier Assassin’s Creed titles that offers greater control over traversal.

Ubisoft is also fine-tuning the game’s parkour control scheme, promising smoother animations and more responsive freerunning — a key element of Mirage’s old-school design philosophy. Meanwhile, a new skill for Basim and an additional difficulty tier will provide seasoned players with extra challenges to test their mastery.

Valley of Memory isn’t just new content — it’s a thank-you to our fans,” Ubisoft said in a statement. “We wanted to give players a chance to explore Basim’s past one last time, with the depth and heart the series deserves.”

Available Free Across All Platforms

Valley of Memory will be available for free on all platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Players will be able to access the DLC directly through their existing Mirage installations without additional purchase.

For fans who embraced Mirage’s return to classic Assassin’s Creed roots, Valley of Memory serves as both an epilogue and a farewell — a meditative journey through the sands of AlUla that ties together Basim’s story before the series once again moves forward into uncharted territory.
