Team17 and Sassy Chap Games‘ Date Everything! certainly feels that way, giving players the freedom to, well, strike up a romance with everything.
It all starts off in unfortunate circumstances. After losing your customer service job to AI, a mysterious package with magical glasses called the Dateviators appears, allowing you to get to work. Using the Dateviators, players will be able to explore a world where each and every object can be their next romantic partner. There are over 100 of these objects, and yes, that includes your laundry basket and even the air itself. Each comes with unique personalities, just like the real thing, and you will have to put in some effort to see just what kind of outcome awaits your romantic efforts.
If you are already itching to kickstart your romantic journey in Date Everything!, there is good news. Following an initial delay, the game is now set to arrive on June 17 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
