The image depicts Jacob, one of Dead Island 2’s protagonists, walking towards what appears to be a brand-new cityscape. The visual nod hints at a fresh setting and the continuation of the franchise’s trademark approach of turning real-world locations into sprawling zombie playgrounds.
Alongside the artwork, Dambuster confirmed the studio is “chiseling away at the next Dead Island experience,” making it clear that some form of development is underway.

The teaser suggests two likely directions:
