Don’t Kill Them All Gets Free Steam Demo
Fika Productions, the Quebec-based studio behind Ship of Fools, has unveiled its latest project, Don’t Kill Them All, alongside a free demo now available on Steam.
The turn-based strategy game, which surpassed its Kickstarter funding goal by more than 100%, was recently showcased at the Quebec Games Showcase with a brand-new trailer. Players can now try the game for themselves, with the demo set to remain available indefinitely.
A Strategy Game Built Around Rage
Don’t Kill Them All introduces a distinctive Rage system that reshapes traditional turn-based combat. Rather than focusing purely on eliminating enemies, players must carefully manage their Orc clan’s fury.
Raids take place in procedurally generated environments filled with hostile forces, unusual NPCs and hidden secrets. However, Orcs in this world do not die in the conventional sense. Instead, damage taken, excessive attacks within a single turn and resource losses all build Rage. When the meter fills, an Orc enters a destructive frenzy.
Winning a battle means regaining control before every Orc erupts simultaneously. If that happens, the raid collapses and hard-earned progress is lost.
Building Bonds Back at Camp
Between raids, players return to camp, where base-building and character development come into play in Don’t Kill Them All. As Warchief, players help Orcs rest, strengthen relationships and develop passions that influence both combat performance and personality traits.
Fika Productions describes this quieter phase as equally important, with the survival of future raids tied to how well players nurture their clan outside of battle.
Open Development With Community Feedback

The Early Demo marks the start of an open development process. Players are encouraged to provide feedback through Steam and the game’s community channels as development continues.
Don’t Kill Them All does not yet have a confirmed full release date, but the demo offers an early look at its blend of strategy, base-building and volatile Orc management.
