The Biggest Football Game Yet

Electronic Arts has confirmed a wave of new partnerships and licenses for EA Sports FC 26, promising over 20,000 athletes, 750+ clubs, 120+ stadiums, and 35+ leagues across both men’s and women’s football. The game launches worldwide on September 26, 2025, with early access for Ultimate Edition owners beginning on September 19.

Key Partnerships and Renewed Licenses

Among the headline announcements is a new marketing partnership with the English FA, featuring both the men’s national team and the reigning UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 champions. EA has also secured a new agreement with FC Bayern, alongside renewals for major women’s competitions including the Barclays Women’s Super League, Arkema Première Ligue, UEFA Women’s Champions League, and UEFA Women’s EURO.

Other confirmed renewals include Atletico Madrid, River Plate, Racing Club, the Scottish Premier League, and the Belgian Pro League.

Expanding Women’s Football

EA SPORTS highlighted its continued commitment to growing representation in women’s football. New clubs such as Chelsea Women and FC Bayern Women will feature in EA Sports FC 26, adding to an already extensive roster of women’s teams.

Zarah Al Kudcy, Chief Revenue Officer, Barclays Women’s Super League, praised the collaboration:

Iconic Stadiums Return and New Additions

Fan-requested stadiums are also joining the lineup, including the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, the Allianz Arena (FC Bayern), and the Tüpraş Stadyumu (Beşiktaş).

EA Sports FC 26 launches on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are now live. EA Play members will receive a 10-hour early access trial from September 19, alongside exclusive rewards, including seasonal Ultimate Team Draft Tokens and club bonuses.
