Eternal Rome Awaits in Anno 117 Pax Romana This November

It had been about two weeks or so since we saw the first gameplay for Ubisoft Mainz‘s upcoming Anno 117: Pax Romana, the latest entry for the city-building franchise. With fans eager to know just when they can get their hands on the game, the company has duly delivered with a brand new trailer as part of the PC Gaming Show. And with that, we now know the game will arrive on November 13.

In this latest entry, players will be transported back to 117 AD, where the territories of Latium and Albion are there for the taking. Housed within the Roman Empire, it is up to you to decide just how these provinces will grow and develop.

This can take the form of a robust economy that can withstand all challenges, a vast empire dominated by military might, a religious sanctuary, or anything in between. In fact, you can even lead a rebellion if you so please, just make sure you have what it takes to back it up.

Anno 117: Pax Romana will be the series’ most ambitious entry yet, with scale and features that match what the development team hopes will set a new standard. Having the foundations of previous games to build on is a good start, and it will be interesting to see just how the game further evolves the mechanics involved.

Research will be key, so are building specific bonuses. Add all of that to a more engaging economy simulation and management, and the battle is already half won. Fans seeking to write their names in history will have much to do come the end of the year when the game releases, and they wouldn’t like it any other way.

Anno 117: Pax Romana will launch on November 13 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
