Like the action of the Doom series, but prefer the setting of the high seas? PARASIGHT has just the thing for you, with the reveal of its latest project, Davy x Jones. A first-person action adventure that brings you into the pirate underworld, it is from the depths that you will rise to take down your eternal nemesis, Blackbeard.
In the game, players will embody Davy Jones himself. But alas, all is not well. Betrayed and left to rue his fate after being beheaded, we find the legendary pirate awakening in The Locker. This is a realm that is filled with nine floating islands amongst a sea of clouds, and it’s full of things to see and rightfully killed like fiends, cursed souls, and even the Kraken.
As the titular character, you will have to master controlling both the body (Jones) as well as the unholy skull (Davy) to stand a chance. Only by reclaiming your Artifacts can you even stand a chance against Blackbeard. The gameplay in Davy x Jones is all about fast-paced first-person combat, whether you are using a sword, a firearm, or even the talking Davy.
To add to the occasion, there is an added element of risk involved when defeating enemies. Every defeated foe drops volatile underworld essence. When they converge, the result is a treasure chest full of powerful loot. However, should you want to claim it, you will have to face an unpredictable foe within. Risks and rewards, just like the pirate life.
Davy x Jones will also feature an interesting base of operations. Abby is a half-ship, half-whale living vessel, acting as the base for players, a form of heavy artillery, and an ally that can house legendary officers as crew to bring her destructive powers to life during combat.

While there is no release date set just yet, the game will be heading to Steam and consoles.
