From Early Access to Full Release
After first making waves two years ago, Polyarc’s expansion of the acclaimed Moss series, Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, finally has a full release date. The competitive real-time action battler arrives on Meta Quest and PC this Holiday 2025, following multiple beta periods and an early access phase that shaped its premium virtual reality experience.
“When we tried VR more than 10 years ago, we imagined the sense of immersion and connection you could have with friends and characters would bring an added level of excitement and joy to the types of games we loved,” shared Chris Bourassa, lead designer at Polyarc.
With a team passionate about competitive gameplay, Glassbreakers was born from the idea of bringing childhood action figures to life in real-time, fantasy-themed battles. Players choose three Champions from a roster of heroic, notorious, and fascinating characters from the Moss universe, each with unique abilities that synergise in the heat of battle.

When Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss launches this Holiday 2025, players can expect:
- Enhanced community integration, including monthly Town Halls, mentorship programs, and active engagement through Discord.
- 12 Champions, each with unique abilities, offering 220 possible team combinations once unlocked through progression.
- 4 Maps, each with distinct aesthetics, objectives, and locations within the Moss universe.
- Buds Mode for 2v1, 2v2, or 2vAI matchups alongside standard 1v1 and 1vAI modes.
- Progression System allowing for flexible playstyles and rewarding mastery.
- Extensive cosmetics to customise your Champions and team.
A Community-First Approach
Polyarc has doubled down on fostering its community, with ongoing plans to:
- Host monthly Town Halls for direct developer-player dialogue.
- Support tournaments, livestreams, and mentorship programs.
- Offer exclusive Discord rewards like titles, badges, game swag, and event invites.
