LEAP Game Studios aims to recapture that magic with LAN Party Adventures, launching September 18 on PC. The game blends adventure storytelling with job simulation, giving players both a narrative hook and creative freedom.
Adventure Meets LAN Parties
The setup for LAN Party Adventures is quite interesting. Instead of just focusing on putting together the best local gaming party, there is a bigger mystery afoot. Your friend, Pedro, has gone missing, and someone has been harassing the townspeople. Your mission is to unravel this mystery, all while setting up a series of unforgettable LAN parties across town.
Plug in cables, power up screens, manage download speeds, there’s plenty to keep busy with, and the more parties you successfully pull off, the more clues you will find. Eventually, this will lead you to your missing friend, at least, that’s the hope.
Sandbox Mode for Creative Freedom
If that’s not your jam and you’d rather tap into your creativity, LAN Party Adventures has you covered too. Alongside the release date announcement, LEAP Game Studios also shared more details about its Sandbox mode.
Freeing players to do what they like, it is up to you to design, customise, and kit out your dream LAN party setups. The choice is yours when it comes to gear, and you don’t have to be limited by any restrictions in this mode, with over 100 customisable items. Think vintage furniture, classic computers, posters, consoles, and other decor. Just watch out for those tangled cables.
Once you are satisfied, open up the in-game Photo Mode and start making memories permanent, and you can even share that with your friends to jog their memories of the good old times.
LAN Party Adventures will be available on PC via Steam on September 18.
