Lost and Found Co. Locks In Release Date After Becoming Thailand’s Most Wishlisted Game
A Cosy Hidden Object Adventure Steps Into the Spotlight
During the Wholesome Snack 2025 showcase, Bit Egg Inc. confirmed that Lost and Found Co. will release on February 11, 2026, on Steam.
The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer created specifically for the event, highlighting the colourful hand-drawn animation and dense visual detail that have become the game’s signature appeal. The footage underscores the project’s inspiration by classic puzzle books such as Where’s Waldo, blending search-and-find mechanics with a playful, lively 2D world.
Lost and Found Co. has steadily gained global attention among cosy game fans. Its character animations, intricate scene design, and gentle storytelling have become central to its identity, helping the game stand out in a competitive indie space. The Wholesome Snack reveal marks another major step in its promotional cycle, offering players a fresh look at the bustling environments awaiting them at launch.
The showcase also reinforced the game’s broader thematic direction, positioning it as a celebration of curiosity and kindness. Each level is filled with thousands of hand-crafted objects, inviting players to explore and observe rather than rush through objectives. This approach has become a defining element of the game’s appeal.
Southeast Asia’s Rising Indie Scene Gains Another Milestone
Lost and Found Co. has also emerged as a significant success story for Southeast Asia’s indie development community. The game has earned multiple accolades, including Most Anticipated Game at Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025, as well as the Grand Jury Award and Best Visual Art at Level UP KL 2024. These achievements have helped elevate its profile well beyond the region.
With more than 170,000 Steam wishlists, it is now the most wishlisted upcoming game from Thailand, and it ranks among the Top 400 most wishlisted forthcoming games on Steam overall. This level of visibility is rare for a Southeast Asian studio and underscores the growing reach and recognition of indie teams emerging from the region.
Bit Egg’s CEO, Richmond Lee, expressed gratitude for the support during the showcase, describing the game as a love letter to small moments of wonder found in everyday life. His comments emphasised the personal and emotional thread woven through the game’s design philosophy, which prioritises gentle engagement over mechanical complexity.

Demo Expands With New Cat Café Level and Room Editor
Players do not need to wait until February to experience Lost and Found Co. as a free demo is currently available on Steam, featuring the new Cat Café level as well as Ducky’s Room. In this customisable space, players can decorate using objects collected during the adventure. The addition of new scenes and interactive features has helped the demo remain popular among early fans.
The demo serves as an early preview of the game’s broader structure, in which each scene offers hidden narratives and character interactions layered across dense visual environments. Bit Egg has indicated that additional updates will continue to refine the experience before launch.
With its release date now confirmed, Lost and Found Co. enters its final stage of preparation as one of 2026’s most anticipated cosy titles.
