MARVEL Cosmic Invasion Receives Physical Editions in March 2026
Physical Standard and Deluxe Editions Confirmed
Dotemu and Tribute Games have announced that MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will receive full physical releases next year, following its digital launch on December 1.
The upcoming arcade-style beat ’em up, which features a playable roster of fifteen iconic Marvel heroes, will arrive in Standard and Deluxe Editions across Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox platforms on March 13, 2026.
This marks the next major collaboration between Dotemu and Tribute Games, whose previous work includes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and the updated Scott Pilgrim titles. With MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, the studios are aiming to blend classic Marvel character design with the accessible rhythm of old-school brawler action.
Deluxe Edition Includes SteelBook, Poster, Art Cards, and Stickers
The Deluxe Edition includes a range of collectible items designed to celebrate the game’s cast and its cosmic storyline. The set comes with:
- A Deluxe Edition box and physical game
- A SteelBook with hand-drawn art of the roster and Annihilus
- A large poster featuring the main cast
- Fifteen holographic art cards, one for each playable character
- Sticker sheets showcasing the full roster
These extras place MARVEL Cosmic Invasion firmly within the tradition of premium brawler releases that celebrate both nostalgia and character design, offering physical collectors a more tactile version of the digital experience.

Pricing Across Platforms
Dotemu has listed the following pricing for the physical versions:
Standard Edition
- US$39.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch
- US$49.99 on Nintendo Switch 2
Deluxe Edition
- US$59.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch
- US$69.99 on Nintendo Switch 2
The higher pricing for Switch 2 reflects the use of full cartridge builds rather than partial digital downloads.
A Roster of Fifteen Heroes and a Galaxy at Risk
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion centres on Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave, setting the stage for a multiversal conflict spanning familiar locations such as New York City and the Negative Zone.
Players can select from a fifteen-hero roster, which includes: Captain America, She Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Storm, Phyla Vell, Venom, Nova, Black Panther, Beta Ray Bill, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Phoenix, and Invincible Iron Man.
The game features tag team combat, allowing players to swap between two selected heroes using the Cosmic Swap system. Each pair brings distinct moves, combos, and superpowered attacks, encouraging experimentation and unique team compositions.
Co op Features and Accessibility Options
The game supports four-player co op, both locally and online, with full crossplay across all platforms. The developers have also included a range of accessibility features to ensure younger and less experienced players can enjoy the game without friction.
The brawler structure combines linear stage progression with hidden upgrades, unlockable synergies, and a mix of grounded urban locations and cosmic battlegrounds.
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion launches this December 1 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
