Neowiz Broadens Its Ambitions After the Success of Lies of P
The success of Lies of P has placed Neowiz and ROUND8 Studio firmly in the global spotlight. Their dark reinterpretation of the Pinocchio tale became one of the standout Soulslike releases of its launch year, winning both critical praise and commercial momentum despite fierce competition.
With a full sequel already confirmed, many assumed the studio would focus entirely on continuing the franchise. Yet the company’s latest financial report reveals a slate far more ambitious than expected.
Four New Internal Games in Development
According to the report, Neowiz currently has four additional in-house projects underway. All are in the early stages of development and have not yet been formally titled. The lineup includes:
- A life simulation game
- A survival action adventure game
- A new title from Seungho Jin, creator of Buried Stars
- A project led by Kay Lee, best known for Vindictus
The involvement of well-known Korean creators suggests that Neowiz is investing heavily in diversifying its portfolio beyond the Soulslike space.

New Publishing Partnerships for Global Expansion
Neowiz is also widening its reach as a publisher. The financial report confirms two externally developed titles under its upcoming slate.
Third Party Projects
- A retro-themed sci-fi first-person RPG from Wolfeye Studios
- A Noir West CRPG developed by Zakazane Studios
These partnerships indicate that the company aims to strengthen its presence across global markets by supporting a broader mix of genres and development styles.
An Expanding Catalogue With No Release Windows Yet
None of the newly revealed projects has confirmed release dates. Neowiz stated that all titles are being developed with a global audience in mind, reflecting a clear strategy to build upon the international attention generated by Lies of P.
With Lies of P 2 in production and six new games either in development or planned for publication, Neowiz is positioning itself as one of the most active and ambitious Korean publishers in the industry.
