People of Note Reveals Full Voice Cast and Confirms Nintendo Switch 2 Release

People of Note Reveals Full Voice Cast and Expands Platform Lineup

Iridium Studios and Annapurna Interactive have revealed the full voice cast for People of Note, while also confirming that the turn-based RPG musical will launch on Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement was made via an Xbox Wire blog post and arrived alongside a new look at one of the game’s musical numbers.

The newly shared scene features protagonist Cadence attempting to recruit Fret, a veteran rocker, offering another glimpse at how music, story, and role-playing mechanics are woven together in the game’s world.

A Musical RPG Built Around Character and Genre

People of Note is set in a world where nations are shaped by musical genres, and its cast reflects that identity. At the centre of the story is Cadence, a pop singer whose solo career stalls after being shut out of the prestigious Noteworthy Song Contest. Her journey quickly shifts from personal ambition to something far more dangerous as she begins assembling a band and uncovering deeper conflicts across the land of Note.

The newly confirmed cast includes performers from across games, animation, and music, with many characters featuring separate speaking and singing roles to support the game’s musical focus.

Cadence is voiced by Heather Gonzalez for dialogue, with singing performed by LEXXE. Fret, the seasoned rocker from the Kingdom of Rock and Roll, is voiced by Jason Charles Miller.

Nintendo Switch 2 Joins the Lineup

Alongside the cast reveal, Iridium Studios confirmed that People of Note will also release on Nintendo Switch 2. The platform joins the previously announced PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox versions, expanding the game’s reach ahead of launch.

People of Note is set to release digitally in 2026 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
