Vampire Crawlers Sets April 21 Release Date for PC and Consoles

poncle has confirmed that Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard will launch on April 21 for PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.

Positioned as a spin-off rather than a direct sequel, Vampire Crawlers reframes Vampire Survivors’ signature pace into a first-person deckbuilding dungeon crawler, swapping auto-attack swarms for rapid-fire card chains and corridor-to-corridor pressure.

The timing follows a strong showing during Steam Next Fest, where a demo helped establish the core loop and generate early word of mouth.

A First-Person Deckbuilder Built for Speed

Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard is pitched as a dungeon-crawling card slinger that keeps the series’ chaotic energy, but changes how that chaos is delivered. Runs are built around throwing cards at high speed, building destructive sequences, and pushing deeper into dungeons with a perspective shift that makes encounters feel more immediate.

The result reads less like a traditional card battler and more like an action-forward deckbuilder where tempo is the point. For the wider Vampire Survivors audience, the appeal is familiarity with a twist. The branding is clear about lineage, but the format shift is large enough that this will land as its own thing rather than an expansion of the original formula.

Day One on Xbox Game Pass

poncle has confirmed Vampire Crawlers will launch day one on Xbox Game Pass, alongside its standard release on PC and console storefronts. In practical terms, that lowers the friction for curious players who want to sample the new format without treating it as a separate purchase decision, and it gives the game a large immediate audience for launch week.

Mobile versions are also planned for iOS and Android at a later date, but the April 21 release is currently focused on PC and current-generation consoles.

A Demo Recap Series Starts March 21, 2026

To bridge the gap between Next Fest and launch, poncle is also running a short-form content beat. A new video series titled Lets Break Vampire Crawlers begins on March 21, spotlighting standout demo moments and community-submitted gameplay clips. It is essentially a curated highlight reel designed to keep the conversation active leading up to the release.
