PowerWash Simulator 2 Brings Bigger Messes and Furry Friends This October
A Fresh Start for the Cleaning Crew
FuturLab has confirmed that PowerWash Simulator 2 will officially launch on October 23, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. To mark the announcement, the studio released a tongue-in-cheek “mandatory training video” welcoming players back to Caldera County — the ever-dirty world where power washing is both a profession and an obsession.
The sequel promises to expand every element of its relaxing, grime-blasting formula, blending quirky humour with new tools, mechanics, and co-op options. As with the first game, there’s no ticking clock, no fail state — just the satisfying rhythm of turning filth into gleaming perfection.
Bigger Jobs, Better Gear, and Shared Progression
PowerWash Simulator 2 introduces a range of new features aimed at keeping both solo cleaners and multiplayer crews busy. The game now supports split-screen co-op for two players and online multiplayer for up to four, with all participants sharing progression throughout the campaign.
New mobility options such as abseiling and scissor lifts allow players to reach high and awkward spots, while multi-stage jobs dynamically expand mid-clean — just when you think you’re finished, new areas open up, keeping the loop engaging.

A new career mode includes 38 unique cleaning contracts, ranging from roller discos and mining trucks to oversized novelty teapots, while a redesigned Home Base customisation system lets players decorate and upgrade their own cleaning HQ.
Clean Smarter, Not Harder
FuturLab has also revamped the game’s equipment system. Players can now upgrade washers, nozzles, soaps, and surface cleaners, tailoring their loadouts to specific types of grime and job sizes. From heavy industrial muck to delicate indoor dust, each surface demands a different approach — and, naturally, plenty of soap.
Long-time fans will be pleased to know that the game’s feline mascot Ulysses returns, now accompanied by her kittens. These virtual cats will follow you to job sites, demand attention mid-clean, and occasionally get in the way — but that’s all part of the charm.
A Sequel That Knows Its Strengths
Since its original launch, PowerWash Simulator has built a reputation as one of gaming’s most unexpectedly therapeutic experiences, embraced by players for its meditative gameplay and meme-ready premise. With this sequel, FuturLab aims to expand the formula without losing what made it special — a blend of zen-like focus and oddly compelling absurdity.
PowerWash Simulator 2 releases on October 23, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. For fans of digital dirt removal and squeaky-clean satisfaction, it’s almost time to roll up your sleeves again.
