Rainbow Six Mobile Launches Worldwide
Ubisoft has officially launched Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile worldwide, making the free-to-play tactical shooter available on both iOS and Android devices.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal alongside multiple co-development studios, the mobile title aims to deliver a full Rainbow Six Siege-style experience tailored specifically for handheld play.
5v5 Tactical PvP on the Go
Rainbow Six Mobile centres on 5v5 Player versus Player matches built around the franchise’s signature Attack vs Defence format. Attackers deploy drones for reconnaissance and breach destructible walls, floors and ceilings, while defenders barricade entry points and utilise traps and surveillance tools to secure objectives.
Ubisoft says the game preserves the strategic tension and teamwork that define the series, while adapting controls and pacing for mobile platforms.
At launch, players can access more than 20 Operators, including Ash, Mute and Dokkaebi. Iconic maps such as Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon and Villa are included, alongside mobile-exclusive locations Restaurant and Summit.
Game modes available at launch include Bomb, Bomb Rush and Team Deathmatch, supported by Ranked matches, Quick Play and Private matches.
Operation Sand Wraith Begins
The global release also marks the start of Rainbow Six Mobile‘s first worldwide season, Operation Sand Wraith.
The season introduces a desert-themed setting and a new Operator, Deimos. Designed as a precise hunter, Deimos wields the DeathMARK Tracker ability, allowing him to lock onto a single enemy and initiate a tense one-on-one duel until one side is eliminated.

Ubisoft has confirmed that new content will be added each season, signalling ongoing live service support for the mobile title.
Rainbow Six Mobile is available now as a free download worldwide on iOS and Android devices.
