Ratatan Confirms Update Roadmap, Console Release in 2026, and Launch Discount

Ratatan Early Access Launches 19 September with Roadmap and Price Revealed

The wait is almost over. Ratata ArtsRatatan will enter Steam Early Access on September 19, but that is only the beginning. The latest details came during a special live stream hosted on AGRS’s YouTube channel, where the development team shared pricing details, an update roadmap, and even merchandise plans.

Update Roadmap Unveiled

During the broadcast, Ratatan ’s developers outlined three major content updates. The first, due in late October, will introduce Super Fever skills, new headwear for Cobuns, and randomised events. A December update will add new scenarios and debut the ominous Dark Ratatans. Looking further ahead, Spring 2026 will mark the arrival of console versions, as well as fresh features including a new world and pets to accompany players.

The team confirmed that Early Access will launch at US$24.99, with a 10% discount available for the first 10 days. This mirrors a common approach for indie releases, encouraging early adoption while rewarding fans who supported the project from its demo stage.

Community and Merchandise

Ratatan has already attracted attention for its quirky cast of characters, brought to life by voice actors including Tomokazu Sugita and Hika Tsukishiro. Developers emphasised that feedback from the demo significantly influenced balance and gameplay adjustments ahead of release.

Fans will also be able to show their support through an official online merchandise store, launching alongside Early Access. Items themed around Cobuns and other in-game characters will be made available.

Looking Ahead

With console support confirmed for 2026 and a steady cadence of updates, Ratatan looks set to expand well beyond its initial PC release. For fans of rhythm-driven roguelikes, September’s Early Access launch offers a first taste of what could become one of the genre’s most inventive new titles.
