It’s a great day to be a fan of the trading card game genre, as Cygames has officially launched Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond. This new take on the established franchise is now available on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
For those unfamiliar with the game, this sequel takes what fans know and love from the first title and freshens things up with new mechanics and additional features. Be prepared to master the likes of super-evolution and more in order to stand a chance against the best the community has to offer.
At the heart of it all is your deck of cards, full of gorgeous illustrations that are accompanied by an array of beautiful animations and effects. Players will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves further within the game’s world by jumping into Shadowverse Park with their in-game avatar. Here, they can connect with like-minded players, battle it out, form guilds, and more.
With over 1.5 million pre-registrations before launch, new players coming to Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond will stand to benefit with the following rewards:
- 50,000 preregistrations: 2 card pack tickets
- 100,000 preregistrations: 3 card packs’ worth of rupies
- 150,000 preregistrations: Dreizehn, Feast of Wolves emblem
- 200,000 preregistrations: 5 card pack tickets
- 250,000 preregistrations: Dreizehn, Feast of Wolves card sleeves
- 300,000 preregistrations: 10 card pack tickets
- 400,000 preregistrations: 1 Legendary Card Pack ticket
- 500,000 preregistrations: Rupies Galore Event
Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond Launch Events
In addition to the previously announced rewards, the Rupies Galore event will also be something to look forward to. The event is already ongoing, where a daily event quest will be available to clear that rewards players with a Rupies Galore chest. That should set you up nicely, currency-wise, for a good while.
Similarly, players can earn up to 10 Legend’s Rise Card Pack tickets by clearing special missions that will be sequentially unlocked over the first three days upon your first sign-in. These can be done both solo or with partners.
Be sure to visit the Shadowverse Park when you can, as various rewards, including avatar assets, card pack tickets, and rupies, can be earned by playing matches at battle tables during the event period. Furthermore, bingo missions will reward players with rupies, stickers, and more for every line they complete. Clear it all, and you will earn a Legendary Card Pack ticket.
There is already a ton to do in Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, including a story mode where each leader will get to star in their own respective stories, beginning with Dreizehn. The Groups feature will ensure you are always facing opponents of similar standing when matchmaking, and you can always get some practice in before jumping into ranked matches.
