Shinobi: Art of Vengeance Demo Out Now With Hidden Trial & Moves Showcase

What’s with the resurgence of warriors of the dark nowadays? Not that we are complaining, and while fans of Ninja Gaiden can enjoy the latest adventure in Ragebound, those looking for something even more classic can finally have a taste of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance. SEGA and Lizardcube are releasing a new demo ahead of the game’s August 29 release.

Available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, players will be able to enjoy an exclusive stage just for the demo in the form of a variant of Oboro Village. While this will serve as the tutorial stage in the full game, the team has put together something different for fans.

Numerous challenges await, including more challenging enemies and a variety of hidden secrets, so there are plenty of things to do during the demo. Furthermore, players can check out a tweaked shop system and preview different Ninpo, Ninjutsu, and combos that would normally be unavailable at this early stage.

What to Expect in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance Demo

That’s not all, to give you even more reason to jump in, SEGA has included Arcade Mode in the Shinobi: Art of Vengeance demo. Those who love perfecting their moves and routines can continue to refine their approach, chasing the high scores and the bragging rights that come along with that. There’s also a hidden trial to be found, and it will be a true test of your skills.

Although you may be able to get a hang of Joe Musashi’s moves and combos, any progress from the demo will not be carried over to the full game. However, should you take a liking to the game, be sure to pre-order early to enjoy the 10% discount with two bonus items thrown in: the original arcade outfit for Musashi and the Fortune Hunter Amulet.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance will release on August 29 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
