After more than six months of being available exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC, GSC Game World has officially announced that STALKER 2 is set to launch on PS5 in late 2025.
This announcement was accompanied by a new trailer that gives us a glimpse of what is to come. The video highlights not only the game’s dark and immersive atmosphere but also the advanced features it will bring to the PS5 platform.

One of the standout enhancements is full support for the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller. Players can expect the implementation of Adaptive Triggers and Haptic Feedback, designed to deliver a deeper sense of realism and immersion throughout the gameplay experience. These features aim to make exploration, combat, and survival in the game’s haunting world more tangible than ever before.
Additionally, GSC Game World has confirmed that STALKER 2 will also be enhanced for the more powerful PlayStation 5 Pro. However, it remains unclear whether similar DualSense-style feedback will eventually be implemented into the PC version of the game, as no information on that front has been shared.
As for in-game content, the PlayStation 5 version appears to mirror what is already available on other platforms, with no mention of exclusive missions or additional story content at this time.
