After a long wait, the time has finally come for PC gamers to experience Shift Up‘s action RPG, Stellar Blade. The upcoming release on the platform promises a slew of exciting features, not to mention the potential for ambitious mods. Most notably, the PC version is set to arrive with even more official content than its console counterpart.
The announcement came somewhat unexpectedly, following a mishap by Sony that saw the trailer released prematurely before being swiftly pulled back. Nevertheless, the internet’s quick response ensured that the trailer was captured and circulated widely, revealing what fans can expect from Stellar Blade‘s PC debut.
The new trailer focuses on highlighting the various features exclusive to the PC version. Among the enhancements are unlocked framerates, support for DLSS4 and AMD FSR 3, Japanese and Chinese voice acting options, ultra-wide monitor support, and full compatibility with DualSense technology, allowing players to enjoy Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers if they use a PlayStation 5 controller.
But the surprises do not end there. Stellar Blade’s PC version will also feature additional content, including an extra boss battle against a stylish new character named Mann. The trailer provides a brief glimpse of this intense showdown, hinting at more challenging gameplay for those eager to test their skills.
Moreover, character customisation fans are in for a treat, as the PC version introduces around 25 new costumes for EVE, offering more ways to personalise her appearance. Although the trailer was primarily focused on the PC release, strong indications suggest that all the showcased content will also be made available to PlayStation 5 users for free when the PC version launches.
Stellar Blade is set to release on PC via Steam on June 11. With its array of new features and expanded content, it is shaping up to be a must-play for action RPG enthusiasts.
