Tales of Berseria Remastered Arrives February 2026
A Surprising Pick for the Next Tales Revival
Bandai Namco’s ongoing revival of classic Tales entries has taken an unexpected turn. While many fans anticipated a remaster from the PlayStation or PlayStation 2 era, the publisher has instead chosen to revisit one of its more modern titles. Tales of Berseria, released in 2017 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, will now join the roster of upgraded franchise favourites with a complete remastered edition with Tales of Berseria Remastered.
The move reflects Bandai Namco’s continued push to modernise the series and create a more cohesive footprint across current-generation platforms. Although not as old as some of its predecessors, Berseria remains a highly regarded chapter in the franchise, with its darker themes, character-driven story, and fast-paced combat still resonating with players today.
Updated Visuals and Streamlined Gameplay
The remaster introduces a range of quality-of-life improvements designed to create a smoother experience for both long-time fans and newcomers. Bandai Namco has confirmed that players can expect refreshed visuals, more straightforward presentation, and mechanical updates that remove several pain points from the original release.
Objective markers will now guide players directly to their next destination, reducing the need to backtrack or consult external resources. Players can also disable random encounters, allowing them to explore environments without interruption when desired. The Grade Shop, previously locked behind progression, will be available immediately, giving players greater freedom to shape their builds from the outset.

All DLC Bundled into the Package
Tales of Berseria Remastered will include every piece of downloadable content released for the original game. Costume packs, equipment sets, and cosmetic items are all included from day one, offering a complete edition that removes the fragmented DLC structure of the past.
The bundled approach gives both returning players and first-timers a seamless experience, ensuring that nothing is left behind when the remaster arrives on modern platforms.
Release Date and Supported Platforms
Tales of Berseria Remastered launches on February 27, 2026, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
With enhanced visuals, additional quality of life options, and full DLC integration, the remastered edition marks another strong step in Bandai Namco’s broader strategy to preserve and revitalise the Tales legacy for a global audience.
