REANIMAL Confirms February 2026 Release Date with New Console Demos

Following months of teasers and a strong first impression in earlier trailers, Tarsier Studios has finally confirmed the release date for REANIMAL. The game launches worldwide on February 13, 2026, marking the studio’s return to atmospheric horror after its work on Little Nightmares I and II.
Published by THQ Nordic, REANIMAL will release simultaneously on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Pre-Orders Open with Exclusive Masks
Pre-orders are now available. Players who secure their purchase early will receive the Foxhead and Muttonhead masks. These cosmetic items underscore one of the game’s core themes, where masks serve both narrative significance and protection within the game’s surreal, predatory world.
Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will open at a later stage. THQ Nordic confirms that further details for the platform will be revealed closer to launch.
New Console Demos Now Available
Alongside the release date announcement, THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios have published new playable demos for REANIMAL on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. These demos give players their first hands-on look at the game’s unsettling atmosphere, environmental storytelling, and creature design.
PC players continue to have access to their own demo, which offers the same early gameplay segment. A separate demo for Nintendo Switch 2 is currently in development and will be released once platform-specific optimisation is complete.
The arrival of demos across multiple platforms signals the game’s approach to final production, with Tarsier polishing the experience ahead of its February release.
