Warhammer Survivors Locks In a 2026 Release Window on PC and Consoles
Auroch Digital has confirmed that Warhammer Survivors will launch later in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. The announcement sets expectations for a broad day-one footprint rather than a PC-first rollout, which suits the genre’s quick-run structure and the demand for a shared launch moment across platforms.
Shown during the Triple-i Showcase, the latest trailer also outlined a meaningful content expansion: new playable characters from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, new weapons and evolved variants, and a full Ork faction arriving with a dedicated stage and the game’s first Extremis Boss.
New Playable Characters Join the Roster
Auroch Digital revealed several new characters headlining the wave of playable options in Warhammer Survivors, spanning Space Marines, Astra Militarum legends, and iconic Imperium leadership. The roster shown includes:
- Malum Caedo, the hero from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun
- Chaplain Fo’Baran of the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter
- Knight-Commander Pask, a tank ace who commands a Leman Russ and is described as the largest character in the game so far
- The Legend of Catachan, framed as a one-man army from the Catachan Jungle Fighters
- Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, wielding the Gauntlets of Ultramar
- Commissar Sebastian Yarrick, the Old Man of Armageddon and a long-time nemesis of Orks
The trailer suggests the game is leaning harder into recognisable 40K personalities rather than purely archetypal classes, which should help its identity stand out within the survivors field.
Devastating New Weapons and Evolved Variants
A new batch of weapons was also highlighted, including both base tools and evolved upgrades designed for late-run power spikes in Warhammer Survivors:
- D6 Dice, exploding dice with damage determined by the number rolled
- Power Fist, a sweeping arc attack around the player
- Gauntlets of Ultramar, an evolved Power Fist that also unleashes bolter fire with each swipe
- Orbital Bombardment, evolved into a voidship barrage that wipes multiple targets
- Emperor’s Wrath, evolved into a burning aura that scorches nearby enemies
These reveals reinforce the game’s approach: readable power fantasy attacks that escalate into screen-filling solutions once you hit the right upgrade paths.
WAAAGH! Orks Arrive with a New Stage and an Extremis Boss

The main enemy faction is the Orks, introduced through an Ork Stronghold stage featuring various unit types. The trailer called out grots pushed to the front lines, Ork Boyz, Warbikers, Bomb Squigs, and heavier firepower threats like Lootas and a Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun.
The centrepiece is Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, confirmed as Warhammer Survivors’ first Extremis Boss. He will bring his own attack patterns and the ability to call in hordes, setting up an encounter that is designed to overwhelm even well-built runs.
Warhammer Survivors launches later in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1 and 2.
