Where Winds Meet Brings Its Wuxia Open World to Mobile This December

Where Winds Meet Mobile Launches on 12 December as Player Count Surpasses 9 Million

A New Milestone for Everstone’s Wuxia Open World

Where Winds Meet continues its rapid rise. Everstone Studio and NetEase Games have announced that the acclaimed Wuxia action RPG will launch on mobile devices this December 12, extending its reach across iOS and Android with full cross-play and cross-progression.

The reveal arrives on the back of a significant milestone: the game has now welcomed more than 9 million players since its global debut on November 14.

The studio shared a new trailer highlighting how the mobile version maintains the scale and fidelity of its PC and console counterparts. Rather than shrinking the world, Everstone has re-engineered the interface to suit touchscreen play while preserving the game’s hallmark fluid traversal, reactive combat and cinematic design.

Reimagined for Mobile Without Compromise

Everstone emphasised that the mobile version retains all exploration, narrative and social features of the main release. Players can move seamlessly between platforms, carrying their progress into an open world shaped by dynamic systems. With a revised UI tailored for handheld play, the studio aims to make the experience approachable without diluting complexity.

The team also reiterated its focus on long-term refinement, crediting community feedback for guiding updates across both PC and mobile ecosystems.

A Living World Built on Interaction

Where Winds Meet distinguishes itself through its simulation-driven social layer. NPCs react to kindness, intimidation, bribery or persuasion, allowing players to forge their own reputations organically.

Multiplayer connections deepen this further, enabling players to heal strangers, assist fugitives or improvise ways out of dangerous encounters. These systems remain fully intact on mobile devices, ensuring the world’s sense of spontaneity continues.

With its player base accelerating and mobile expansion imminent, Everstone sees this as a natural evolution of Where Winds Meet. The studio hopes the mobile release will broaden the community and make its Wuxia-inspired world more accessible internationally.

Pre-registration is available now, and the game officially arrives on mobile on December 12.
