Honkai: Star Rail Launches Lottery System with 500,000 Stellar Jades Grand Prize

What is the most important and valuable thing for gamers currently indulging in their favourite gacha games? That’s right, the gacha resource itself, which most often allows you to obtain the latest characters and weapons and can sometimes feel more valuable than actual money. For fans of Honkai: Star Rail, an upcoming event will deliver a ton of the in-game currency, which is something you won’t want to miss.

HoYoVerse has just announced the Lucky Superstar event that will run from January 27 to February 2. And there’s plenty up for grabs, with the event promising a special prize of up to 500,000 Stellar Jades for 20 lucky players worldwide.

The mechanics are pretty straightforward. During this period, players can choose to receive their daily 100 Stellar Jades or sacrifice them for a lottery ticket and take a chance. If you become the grand prize winner, you will be entitled to 500,000 Stellar Jades, equivalent to 3,125 pulls worth US$6,200.

For those who aren’t so lucky, Honkai: Star Rail still offers a chance to win 600 Stellar Jades with a 10% probability. On the flipside, the 100 Stellar Jades you sacrifice can end up only giving you 50 Stellar Jades with a 90% chance. Like any lottery or game of chance, you could very well be making a loss chasing the big prize.

Considering that the Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 update will already be live, there will be even more alluring characters awaiting eager players to pull. The highly anticipated characters The Herta, Aglaea, and the Remembrance Trailblazer will debut, and several old friends will reunite with the Trailblazer: Limited 5-star characters Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade will be making reruns. In the second half, the 5-star characters Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf will also be making a limited return.
