Max Caulfield Returns in Life is Strange Double Exposure This October

If you have always resonated with the teenage journey of Max Caulfield in the Life is Strange games, then it’s time to get excited come this October. Square Enix and Bandai Namco have announced that the new entry in the critically acclaimed narrative adventure franchise, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, will be launching on October 30.

The game will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and also on Nintendo Switch at a later date. Along with the highly anticipated release date, we also got a new announcement trailer to whet fans’ appetite even more.

If you are hoping to find out more about the sequel to the 2015 title, here’s the official description:

“Max Caulfield, photographer-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University, discovers her closest new friend Safi dead in the snow. Murdered. To save her, Max tries to Rewind time – a power she’s not used in years… but instead Max opens the way to a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive, and still in danger! Max realises the killer will soon strike again – in both versions of reality. Only Max can Shift between the two parallel timelines to solve and prevent the same murder. Max is thrust into a thrilling supernatural murder mystery – more dangerous than ever before! With her new power to Shift between two timelines, forge allies and pursue suspects across two versions of reality, shaping both timelines through unforgettable choices.”

With both Max and Safi students at Caledon University, the stage is set for a likely tangle of mysteries and secrets that will push players to discover more about our protagonists, the people around her, and likely about themselves as well in Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

In addition, we also got more information about the various versions of the game, with three variants when it comes to the digital offering – Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. The Deluxe Edition of Life is Strange: Double Exposure comes with the Spooky and Decades Outfit Packs, whereas the Ultimate Edition contains those as well as:
