Ruins of Mortium Ushers in Vampire Endgame in V Rising

Early Access success can be a rare occurrence, but for Stunlock Studios, their continued success with V Rising comes as no surprise. From delivering substantial content updates to keeping in touch with its players, the team consistently delivers. And judging from the latest gameplay reveal of the Ruins of Mortium endgame zone in V Rising, nothing is stopping the darkness from sweeping across gaming.

Set to open its gates when V Rising releases in full on Steam this May 8, the new area was once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization. Now, it lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces.

Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his loyal Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.

The full PC release of V Rising will boast more content than just the Ruins of Mortium. There will be dynamic endgame events to enjoy, new V Blood bosses and enemies to fight with your new weapons and magic, as well as improvements to castle building, decor, and storage. The game will also have native gamepad support and an all-around better experience with enhanced game optimisation and visual improvements.

For those who have not embraced the dark just yet, V Rising sees players awakened as a fresh vampire in a world ruled by humans. The only objective is to become master of the realm, feeding and dominating in both PvE and PvP action. The dark fantasy realm will also be home to your customisable castle, where friends and enemies alike can make their presence felt.

Having already sold more than 4 million copies during Early Access, the hope is that V Rising will build on its deadly foundations on May 8 and continue its reign. An upcoming PlayStation 5 release is also in the works, although no release date has been set just yet.
