Sci-fi has always captured the attention of many, and if you are seeking a third-person shooter that will scratch that itch, then Bandai Namco‘s SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada should be on your radar. Set in a futuristic world on the devastated surface of the Earth, the team has announced that it will be released on January 23, 2025.
As a Drifter, players will embark on a journey to collect the precious AO Crystals, a rare resource vital to survival in this dystopian landscape. With an AI companion, Magus, and CRADLECOFFIN vehicle by their side, they will have to face countless threats and uncover the secrets of this dystopian future. The world is a battlefield filled with resources and dangers, where only the determined will prevail. You won’t be just fighting against enemies; other players will also be a threat if you find yourself in their sights.
Players can personalise their experience in the game by customising the appearance of their AI companion, Magus, and their CRADLECOFFIN vehicle, fostering a unique bond and fighting style. The latter is an all-weather bipod developed for combat in harsh terrain, and it’s going to be interesting just how that figures into the actual gameplay as you defend yourself from monsters and other players.
Pre-orders for SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada are open now, with various editions and bonuses. Aside from the Standard edition, the Deluxe Edition includes seven days early access, a Deluxe Drifter Pass voucher, an exclusive school uniform costume for your Magus, and a remake ticket to alter Magus’ appearance and system.
The Ultimate Edition offers even more, featuring the same early access, an Ultimate Drifter Pass voucher, a Mystere Type Magus Exchange ticket to get Mystere, similar to the one featured in the SYNDUALITY Noir anime, two variations of limited school uniform costumes and the Magus remake ticket. All pre-orders will also net you the DAISYOGRE CRADLECOFFIN, controlled by Kanata in the anime.
SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada will be released on January 23 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and on January 24 2025, for PC.
